The Enderun College organizes compelling and informative conferences and summit throughout the year. The 3rd Summit about sustainability with the theme: WATER: Current, Cycles and Convergence was spearheaded by Director of Sustainability Management, Engr. Edmond Maceda of Enderun College last August 1, 2018. The conference was well attended by different sectors of the government, academicians and businessmen.

There are twenty (20) students from UDM (fifteen (15) from College of Business and Entrepreneurship, three (3) from the College of Criminology and two (2) from the College of Engineering and Technology) and ten (10) faculty members from different colleges participated in this very enlightening and responsive to the call of environment.

The summit gathers twenty (20) experts in Sustainability management, water, ecology and natural resources. There are three expectations for the summit :

1. Informative 2. Interactive and 3. Inspirational. According to Dr. Julius Nereus O. Acosta, Principal Author of the clean Water Act, Clean Air Act, Solid Waste Management Act and Biodiversity Protection Act: “People Need Nature, but Nature does not need People yet the nature is dying, There will be NO Economy if there will be NO Ecology” Anthroposcene and Corporative (coined from the term corporation and cooperative) are the terms of the day Dr. Acosta further conclude after the short movie clips he presented that , “Each one should Understand, Value and Protect the Environment. ” Further Dr. Jun Salipsip , director of Research of Enderun College said that the next Oil is “Water”.
